What makes
a good battery?
Judging what makes a good battery depends on the relevant performance metrics for individual applications. Echion’s battery anode materials deliver long cycle life, fast charging and excellent safety. Standard battery technology cannot meet every demand
Industrial and commercial e-mobility markets have high expectations of operational capability and battery performance.
Vehicles in these sectors are expensive assets designed for long life spans of up to 40 years. Downtime costs money so full optimisation of assets is a key metric. That means purchase decisions are often driven by total cost of ownership calculations.
To satisfy those requirements battery chemistries need to provide excellent safety, long cycle-life and fast-charging capability. Echion’s XNO® product does this uniquely well.

We are able to provide guaranteed access to large volume, high quality XNO® materials with exceptional price stability, and cost-effectiveness. Echion and its manufacturing partners are rapidly scaling-up production to meet commercial demand. We are already able to supply multi-ton batches in 2022 and will be able to supply 10’s of tons batches in 2023, and 100’s of tons batches in 2024.
