We operate as a technology company across the full battery value chain — from anode material supply to complete engineered battery systems. Our manufacturing is carried out by established industrial partners at scale.
XNO® is not in development. It is in commercial production and deployed in the field across mining, rail, maritime, commercial transport, and energy storage worldwide.

HOW XNO® REACHES THE MARKET
How XNO® reaches the market.
Echion sits at the centre of a global XNO® ecosystem — supplying anode material to cell manufacturers worldwide, and through Echion Solutions, working directly with system integrators and end users to design and supply complete battery systems.
Manufacturing at scale
XNO® is produced at industrial scale through an established strategic production partnership in Brazil — the world's largest niobium battery production facility. Current capacity is 2,000 tonnes per year, equivalent to approximately 1 GWh of Li-ion cells annually.
Our supply chain benefits from dual-qualified manufacturing sources, manufacturing partners across multiple geographies including China and non-China supply chains, and a product range spanning every format an application might require.
